Joomla! Administration is easy to use but sometimes it is still to heavily, particularly when owners of small sites do changes at their website only from time to time and are not experienced with Joomla! backend.

Especially web agencies and webworkers desire a tool to empower their customers / clients to make basic changes on their own – without asking again and again for the same procedure.

On the client or user side AdminB is a intuitively to use Ajax based user interface with no admin menus and not the lot of options the regular Joomla! administration has. AdminB displays the Joomla! structure as a tree structure based on the Joomla! menus and mapped directly to the Joomla articles. With the ajax menu tree, it is possible to sort and manage the Joomla! menus by drag and drop and to build new menu item / article pairs, and the option to delete them. There is no management of sections / categories because customers are often confused with this. Another important thing for customers is, to manage manage and insert images into their articles easily. For this purpose there is an extra folder tree and a picking tool for images. With some browsers (FF) it is possible to insert images by drag and drop.  

At the Joomla! administration view, there are some parameters to especially manage the CK Edtior for the customers interface and their needs.

AdminB is NOT designed to replace the Joomla! administration!

AdminB was designed to REDUCE the Joomla! structure to a basic view and allows to manage basic site administration very easily mostly possible without any training.

With a Manager Account for the customer, there is only access to the AdminB Interface. So it is possible to hide customers away from the regular Joomla! adminstration.
